Welcome to the Charlottesville Area Real Estate Visitor Guide.  We have tried to put together information about the cultural aspects and activities that make the Charlottesville area a truly special place to call home.  On the left side of the page, you will notice links that will take you to some of the highlights of what the Charlottesville area has to offer. 

With the area being home to three American Presidents, Jefferson, Madison, and Monroe, there is no shortage of historic homes.  Monticello, Montpelier, and Ash Lawn-Highland are wonderful attractions that have become area institutions.  

The University of Virginia is an attraction all by itself, offering plenty to see and do in Charlottesville.  From sporting events to live concerts, UVa is home to a wide range of events and attractions.  It also offers some of the best possible medical care available.  

While you are enjoying your stay in the Charlottesville area, you will most certainly want to visit the city itself, especially the Downtown Mall, the hub of Charlottesville's culture; and if fine drink and dining is your type of thing, the area's wineries are sure to please.
